Cefalù Meetings

The Astronomical Observatory of Rome, in collaboration with the Physics Department of Palermo University, the Astronomical Observatory of Teramo and other Italian and foreign scientific Institutes, has organized, since 2004, International Astrophysics Meetings located in the beautiful Cefalù, in Sicily.
A fundamental contribution to the success of these events has been the support of the Local Authorities of Cefalù and the precious collaboration of the Fondazione Mandralisca. Other local Institutions, such as the Cefalù Tourist Board, the Regional Province of Palermo, the autonomous Region of Sicilia and more, have also been important partners.

The proceedings of these meetings have been published by the AIP in 2004, 2006 and 2008, and by SAIt in 2007. (for the NAtional GRB Meeting of 2010, the scientific organizers have not planned the publication of proceedings as yet).

In the years 2006 and 2008, we have assigned the "PREMIO CITTA' DI CEFALU' FOR THE ASTROPHYSIC".
