MINOR BODIES OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM

Physical properties of minor bodies of the Solar System: near Earth Objects (NEOs), main belt asteroids, Jupiter Trojans, Centaurs, Trans-Neptunian Objects (TNOs).

• Surface composition and space weathering processes on atmosphereless small bodies in the inner Solar System. Relations among main belt asteroids, NEOs and meteorites.

• Mid- and far-infrared spectroscopy and photometry of meteorites and main belt asteroids: ISO, Spitzer and Herschel data analysis and interpretation.

• Surface composition and space weathering processes on atmosphereless small bodies in the outer Solar System. Relations among Jupiter Trojans, main belt asteroids, Centaurs and TNOs.

• Rotational properties and densities of Centaurs and TNOs.

• Far-infrared observations of Centaurs and TNOs with Herschel.

• Low delta-V Near Earth Objects: a survey of suitable targets for space missions.

• Scientific support for assessment studies of planetary space missions: GAIA, Sample Return Mission to a Near Earth Object.
