Conducted at the INAF<br \/>\nObservatory of Turin under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Massaro and Dr. Roberto<br \/>\nSoria, my work focused on the characterisation of the candidate Intermediate-Mass<br \/>\nBlack Hole ESO243-49 HLX-1. In particular, I studied its optical\/UV and X-ray emission,<br \/>\nvariability and environment at the outskirts of its host galaxy.<br \/>\nAfter graduating from the University of Turin in October 2025, my passion and curiosity<br \/>\ntowards these sources naturally led me to continue my research in Rome.
