I have been awarded as Builder of the Euclid Mission in 2021, and I won the Euclid STAR prize in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am the developer and maintainer of the photometric  software packages <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"T-PHOT (si apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oa-roma.inaf.it\/merlin\/2019\/04\/15\/t-phot\/\" target=\"_blank\">T-PHOT<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"A-PHOT (si apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oa-roma.inaf.it\/merlin\/2019\/05\/01\/a-phot\/\" target=\"_blank\">A-PHOT<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am vegan, and I stand for animals, for the environment, and for human rights. <br>I am a musician and I play in several bands and projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ui.adsabs.harvard.edu\/search\/filter_database_fq_database=OR&amp;filter_database_fq_database=database%3A%22astronomy%22&amp;fq=%7B!type%3Daqp%20v%3D%24fq_database%7D&amp;fq_database=(database%3A%22astronomy%22)&amp;q=author%3A(%22merlin%2C%20emiliano%22)&amp;sort=date%20desc%2C%20bibcode%20desc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"My publications (si apre in una nuova scheda)\">My publications<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a staff researcher at INAF \u2013 Observatory of Rome.
