Main collaborations

I am or have been involved in the following collaborations:

  • GLASS: JWST-ERS program (PI T. Treu) aimed at studying the early Universe with the NIRCam, NIRSpec and NIRISS instruments; it is the deepest extragalactic ERS program with NIRCam.
  • CEERS: JWST-ERS program (PI S. Finkelstein) observing 100 sq. arcmin with JWST imaging and spectroscopy using NIRCam, MIRI, and NIRSpec.
  • PRIMER: JWST Cycle 1 public Treasury Program (PI J. Dunlop) designed to provide the astronomical community with an early, large-area, homogenous, deep JWST NIRCam+MIRI imaging survey.
  • ASTRODEEP: FP7-SPACE project (PI A. Fontana) aimed at building consistent multiwavelength catalogues (from X-ray to far-IR) in the major extragalactic fields with the most advanced techniques and exploit them for studying galaxy evolution.
  • SPICA Galaxy Evolution Working Group: SPICA (an infrared space observatory with a 2.5m actively cooled mirror) was a joint European-Japanese project that had been selected as one of three candidates for the ESA Cosmic Vision M5 mission.
  • CANDELS: the Cosmic Assembly Near-IR Deep Extragalactic Legacy Survey (PIs S. Faber and H. Ferguson) is the widest HST program (902 orbits) ever approved, mostly finalised to study the distant Universe.
  • PEP: PACS Evolutionary Probe (PI D. Lutz) is a Herschel guaranteed time key program survey of the extragalactic sky with the PACS instrument, aimed at studying the rest-frame far-IR emission of galaxies up to redshift ~3.
  • BOOMERanG: a microwave telescope on board of a stratospheric balloon to map the intensity and polarization of the CMB (PIs P. de Bernardis and A. Lange).
