About us

The HEAG at OAR was founded in the mid-’90s and since then has grown in members and in scientific topics faced. Our research is focused on Relativistic Astrophysics, on the theoretical and observational study of compact objects, and on the electromagnetic signatures of the gravitational wave events. We are also involved in the development of several scientific missions and facilities (such as, among others, eXTP, NewAthena, CTA, SKA, SiFAP2, ET, LGWA, THESEUS, AXIS).
