I am currently an Information Technology PhD student at Politecnico di Milano under the supervision of Prof. Piero Fraternali. My PhD is focused on the study of explainability for Artificial Intelligence approaches on multimodal astrophysical data. I am currently working on Artificial Intelligence applied to gravitational lenses and pulsars and collaborating in European projects on Artificial Intelligence in remote sensing and time series.

I graduated with a Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and a Master’s in Simulation and Visualization at NTNU in Norway.

My thesis was carried out under Prof. Piero Fraternali’s (PoliMi) and Ricardo da Silva Torres (NTNU) supervision and focused on applying Explainable Artificial Intelligence techniques to the study of iconography.
